The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) categorizes French proficiency into six levels, helping learners track their progress and choose the right learning path.

Course Levels

Level A

LEVEL A1 – Beginner

At this level, learners can understand and use simple French phrases, introduce themselves, and communicate in basic, everyday situations.

LEVEL A2 - Elementary.

Students can handle simple conversations, talk about familiar topics, and understand commonly used expressions related to personal information, shopping, and daily activities.

LEVEL B1 - Intermediate

Learners can express opinions, describe experiences, and handle most travel situations. They understand the main points of conversations on familiar subjects such as work, school, and leisure.

LEVEL B2 – Upper Intermediate

At this stage, learners can communicate fluently with native speakers, engage in detailed discussions, and understand complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics.

LEVEL C1 – Advanced

Students can use French effectively for professional and academic purposes, express themselves clearly and spontaneously, and understand implicit meanings in various contexts.

LEVEL C2 – Proficient

At the highest level, learners can understand and produce complex texts with ease, express themselves precisely, and communicate effortlessly like a native speaker.
